Awaisu Hashimu, popularly known as Awaisu Bin Hasheem, has described media as a profession he has chosen to pursue with commitment, determination and consistency.
Hashimu said his journey in the media industry has not always been easy, noting that he has faced different challenges along the way. However, he maintained that such challenges have strengthened his determination to continue building his career.
“I have taken media as a profession. That is why I take it seriously and remain committed to what I do. There have been challenges, but I have chosen to keep moving forward.”
He explained that there were periods when he considered leaving the media space because of the difficulties he encountered. However, he eventually decided to remain focused and continue working towards his goals.
According to him, success in media requires patience, consistency, creativity and a willingness to keep learning.
He also advised young people who are interested in the media industry to take their work seriously and avoid giving up simply because results do not come immediately.
“Sometimes, you may work hard without seeing immediate results, but that does not mean your effort is wasted. Keep learning, keep improving and keep pushing.”
Hashimu added that his experience has taught him the importance of perseverance, saying that difficult moments should not determine the future of anyone who is committed to achieving a meaningful goal.
He urged young creators to remain focused, develop their skills and make responsible use of social media platforms as tools for growth and positive impact.
