He was born in Tumbau town, Gezawa Local Government, Kano State in 1982. He began his early education at Gezawa Central Primary School, followed by studying Arabic at S.A.S Kano.
He then attended the College of Arts, Science & Remedial Studies for an IJMB course before proceeding to Bayero University Kano (B.U.K.), where he earned a degree with Second Class Upper in Hausa/Islamic Studies (Combined Honours).
In 2008, he began freelancing at Radio Kano and later joined Rahma Radio in 2011 as a casual staff member in the Marketing Department. He later became a permanent staff and participated in the News & Current Affairs Department, eventually becoming Head of Translation. He pursued further studies at Aminu Kano College of Legal & Islamic Studies and earned a Professional Diploma in Mass Communication. He also completed an Advanced Diploma in Mass Communication at Bayero University Kano.
He returned to Rahma Radio as Assistant Marketing Manager in 2018, later becoming Marketing Manager. Afterward, he worked at Abubakar Rimi Television (ARTV) and then Guarantee Radio as Assistant Marketing Manager for two years. In 2022, he moved to Premier Radio as a Convasser and was promoted to Marketing Manager, where he continues to work.
He has attended several seminars and workshops related to marketing and is an Associate Member of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON).
