Ahmed Bello has a distinguished educational and professional background that has shaped his long and successful career in public administration and broadcasting. He began his education at Kurmawa Primary School (1978) and Government Secondary School Rano (1983), where he earned his Secondary Certificate.
Ahmed further pursued studies in public administration, earning a Diploma in Public Administration from Bayero University (1996), an Advanced Diploma in the same field (2000), and a Higher National Diploma (HND) from Kano State Polytechnic (2007). In 2008, he received a Certificate of Exemption from the National Youth Service Corps.
Ahmed has over 35 years of experience at Kano State Broadcasting Corporation (KSBC), where he worked in both radio and television. His roles included NADAL Officer and Chairman ACTUS at the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission. Additionally, Ahmed has participated in several specialized courses, including a certificate from the National Archives of Nigeria, a Management Appreciation Course at the Centre for Research and Management Studies, and a Human Resources Seminar organized by BBC Media Action.
He also made significant contributions to the Radio, Television, and Theatre Arts Workers Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU), where he was the first elected Secretary of the Kano State Council and a member of the Nigeria Labour Congress.
Currently, Ahmed serves as the Admin Manager at Premier Radio Kano, where he continues to apply his wealth of knowledge and experience to help the station thrive. He is happily married with children.
