Hafsat Bello Bahara is a multimedia journalist with over five years of experience. She holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Mass Communication from Bayero University, Kano.
Hafsat currently serves as a news and digital media editor at Premier Radio and has worked with notable organizations such as NTA, ARTV, IFING MEDIA, and LEADERSHIP Newspaper.
She is an alumna of prestigious fellowships, including Baobab for Women’s Rights and ICIR’s Governance Fellowship. Hafsat is also the only female from Kano to join the WSCIJ’s MacArthur-funded investigative journalism program.
Passionate about ethical reporting, governance reform, and mentoring aspiring journalists, Hafsat continues to contribute significantly to the field.
